Écorché - Anatomy Study

I spent the past couple of months working on this project. It required me to work on over 300 SubTools during the sculpting phase. Then I manually retopologized and UV the meshes. Later on, I cleaned up the base sculpt and added finer muscular details in ZBrush.

I based my model on reliable sources such as Anatomy For Sculptors, Burne Hogarth, Eliot Goldfinger, Henry Gray, Rey Bustos, Scott Eaton, Steven Rogers Peck, Victor Perard, and many, many more...

The refraction-based eye model works great with ray-traced lighting and supports sclerotic scattering, iris caustics, and the red-eye effect.

-Sculpted by hand in ZBrush
-Retopologized and laid out UVs in Maya
-Textured and created PBR Materials in Substance 3D Painter
-Baked textures and rendered final shots in Marmoset Toolbag
-Created alphas, and edited and composed the final shots in Photoshop
